'EBB captivated audiences at the Fusion and Prog for Peart festivals, and have previously been featured in this mag's Limelight section, so anticipation builds ahead of their set. The explosive initial impact is huge, the band instantly generating a universe of musical and physical expression to convey their multifaceted takes on the human condition. The focal point, wild-haired singer-guitarist Erin Bennett, exudes an edgy, dynamic charisma, her voice laser-like in its directness and clarity. Flanking her is the interpretive, flowing movement of backing singer Kitty Biscuits together with synth player Suna Dasi, who heighten their dramatic genre-busting songs that focus on classic and space rock, interspersed with dashes of psychedelia, folk and jazz.'

'This collective create music that is subtly different from even the most left-field stuff that you will hear, cleverly constructed but with a flippant, iconoclastic, devil-may-care attitude that clearly resonates with their fans and they are gaining more admirers every time they take to the stage at the many festivals they play.

It is attention-grabbing music but EBB have the necessary chops to back it all up, which they prove time and time again in a live setting. The EP closes way too early with the incendiary 'Nieu', an in-your-face, frantic four minutes of pure musical genius. The guitar and keys hit you with an addictive, demented riff and the drums and bass feel hewn from granite, add in the darkly delicious vocals and you have something utterly, and wickedly, addictive. Damn, this is all over way too quick so you just have to go back and press play again!'

'Musically, the band are equally ambitious, these three tracks broad in scope and excellent in execution, with singer Erin Bennett as expressive as you could wish for.

There's no doubt this is impressive stuff that marks EBB out as an act to watch. The musical skills on show really are captivating, and crucially, the songwriting is tight and engaging, while still be able to challenge in all the right places. Where they go from here should be very interesting to follow indeed.'

If you've caught any of the band's YouTube performances you'll know how impressive they are live...

All tracks are penned by Erin Bennett (lead guitar and vocals) but the first movement of Silent Saviour is an instrumental delight allowing the whole band to showcase their talents without the need for any attention stealing solos prog rock was known for in the 70s. From there you will be hooked and after the final track fades, you'll have the same two questions I have:

When can I get even more music from EBB, and

When can I see them live anywhere near me?

As to the first, I hope (being greedy) we get more in 2024 (though a good start), the second is partly answered by their current tour plans. I've just to work out which venue I can get to!'
